About Us

In 2006 Lock ‘n Load Publishing was officially started. The company’s original titles, Lock ‘n Load: Band of Heroes, Swift and Bold, World at War: Eisenbach Gap, and Lock ‘n Load: Day of Heroes, released within the year, and have subsequently sold through two printings.

From that humble, three-game beginning, Lock ‘n Load Publishing has grown to a game company offering over seventy products including the Nations at War, World at War, Lock ‘n Load Tactical, Corps Command, Tank on Tank series, and our company magazine, Line of Fire. In addition to historical, conflict-centered games, Lock ‘n Load Publishing has also branched out into science fiction and horror, with All Things Zombie, Space Infantry, and Nuklear Winter ’68 all popular with historical and fantasy gamers alike.

Lock ‘n Load Publishing games have garnered awards from The International Gamers, Origins, The Wargamer, Games Magazine, and a pair of Charles S. Roberts’ Awards, including best of the year award for Heroes of the Gap.

In July 2014, Lock ‘n Load Publishing entered a new stage with David Heath becoming Lock ‘n Load’s new principal owner and business manager. Many of you may already know David Heath as he was the previous CEO/founder of Matrix Games, The Wargamer and The Gamer’s Network for over ten years. The previous owner, departed Lock ‘n Load in November 2014. David Heath was joined by Jeff Lewis, Ralph Ferrari, Sean Druelinger Matt Lohse, Blackwell Hird, and Darren White to design, develop and expand the Lock ‘n Load Publishing game line.

Lock ‘n Load Publishing has set up its production operations to Colorado in the United States. We have named our printing division as the “Red Ball Xpress”. Lock ‘n Load Publishing will be handling a lot more of its printing in-house. David Heath has over fifteen years experience developing and designing digital games and will now be bringing those skills here to expand the Lock ‘n Load game line.

As Lock ‘n Load Publishing moves forward, it intends to continue to broaden its board game line as well as introducing digital and miniatures-based products. We love designing, developing and most of all playing games. We give praise to God and thank God for blessing us so we can follow our passions and we are grateful for your support.
